Then hover the Options button and uncheck the Open at Login entry as shown below. The vulnerability exists because sensitive information is included in the mDNS reply.

From your Apps icons Dock (which is by default at the lower part of your Desktop), right click the Webex icon. A vulnerability in the multicast DNS (mDNS) protocol configuration of Cisco Webex Meetings Client for MacOS could allow an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to obtain sensitive information about the device on which the Webex client is running. Now go ahead and navigate to the desktop. Apple uses that Developer link for all developers to address their issues, and it would be more fruitful for WebEx to determine what's missing in their code from Apple. So here’s the procedure for macOS users: On your macOS computer, close the Cisco Webex application. You may get this bug reported to after filing a free online developer account application at however as WebEx is not an Apple product, I'm not hopeful this issue would be addressed. The problem has to be addressed to Webex directly as their system requirements do not address the most recent browser versions Apple has. Apple no longer makes 10.9 available.Īpple does not respond to this forum. If you didn't happen to save your 10.9 installer dmg or clone. I've successfully used WebEx meetings as recently as having Mac OS X 10.9 installed last June. don't click on the option button, just click on the area just outside of that. the computer connect button actually has a button inside of itself, an option button. iOS does not run on Macs, it only runs on iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touch. It's kind of a tiny UX issue- when you initially click on the connect to audio button, you'll see the 3 options: phone, phone, and connect using computer. Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac to find your Mac OS X version.

I cant seem to find a way to change my display name or log in as myself (using the desktop app), unless I run the browser version. Long story short, my boss used my Mac once to host a WebEx meeting, and now every time I try to join a meeting (hosted by my boss), it automatically logs me in as him. I would contact WebEx and ask them what's the maximum version of browser and plugin they have tried. WebEx desktop app (Mac) logs me in as my boss.

Note, the newest Safari it says will work, is version 6, whose version was only released for Mac OS X 10.7, and the last release which may run is for Mac OS X 10.8:
